Boys Pathway

Develop Your Game, Pursue Your Goals

Madison 56ers gives boys the coaching, competition, and support to grow as players and teammates. From early development at local clubs to national league competition, our pathway helps players strengthen their skills, take on new challenges, and prepare for what comes next..

Alliance Development Program

U8–U10: Build Your Foundation

The pathway to Madison 56ers begins with a strong foundation at the local club level. Our partner clubs—Middleton United Soccer Club, Shorewood, and  Regent Soccer Club—provide U8–U10 programming where young players can learn the game and develop their skills.

Through the Madison 56ers Alliance Development Program (ADP), players receive additional training with 56ers coaches while continuing to play at their local club. Open to players from our partner clubs and the wider soccer community, ADP builds technical skills, tactical understanding, and confidence in a fun, competitive environment.

Girls Pathway

A Pathway Built for Development

As players move into the 56ers team environment, training and competition evolve with them. Our boys program offers opportunities at different levels, helping players apply what they learn, contribute to their teams, and work toward their goals.

Develop Your Game | U11–U12

Strengthen Skills. Build Understanding.

The U11–U12 years help players build the foundation for the next stages of competitive soccer. Training develops individual technique, decision-making, and an understanding of how to work together as a team.

Players learn to solve problems on the field, take responsibility for their development, and build confidence through training and match experience.

National League Competition | U13–U19

Take on a Bigger Challenge

Madison 56ers’ first and second boys teams compete in USYS National Leagues, providing opportunities to test their skills against strong opponents.

As the game becomes more demanding, players continue developing their technical ability, tactical awareness, physical preparation, and mental approach. Training helps them meet those demands and contribute within a competitive team environment.

Our U11-U19 boys program also includes state and local competition opportunities based on age and team placement. These teams give players meaningful opportunities to develop their skills, gain match experience, and take on new challenges. Across the program, our focus remains consistent: quality coaching, purposeful training, and continued player development.

Development Beyond Game Day

More Opportunities to Develop and Compete

Progress comes from the work players put in throughout the season. With purposeful coaching, year-round training, and a supportive club community, Madison 56ers helps players build the skills, confidence, and habits that carry into every match.

Purposeful Coaching

Training supports technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth, with an approach tailored to each age group.

Goalkeeper Development

Goalkeeper-specific training gives players focused opportunities to develop the skills and understanding their position requires.

Year Round Training

Our club-owned indoor facility supports training through Wisconsin’s winter months, helping players continue building their game throughout the year.

A Positive Club Community

As a nonprofit club rooted in community, Madison 56ers values teamwork, dedication, and respect. We strive to create an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and connected to their teammates.
