Girls Pathway

A Dedicated Path for Competitive Girls Soccer.

Girls Pathway

Develop Your Game, Pursue Your Goals

Madison 56ers offers girls a range of opportunities to develop and compete, from early training through ADP to Inspire, Aspire, and Girls Academy, alongside regional, state, and local competition based on age and team placement.

Across every level, players receive the coaching and support to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and contribute to their teams. Our pathway gives players opportunities to take on new challenges and work toward their goals.

Alliance Development Program

U8–U10: Build Your Foundation

The pathway to Madison 56ers begins with a strong foundation at the local club level. Our partner clubs—Middleton United Soccer Club, Shorewood, and  Regent Soccer Club—provide U8–U10 programming where young players can learn the game and develop their skills.

Through the Madison 56ers Alliance Development Program (ADP), players receive additional training with 56ers coaches while continuing to play at their local club. Open to players from our partner clubs and the wider soccer community, ADP builds technical skills, tactical understanding, and confidence in a fun, competitive environment, helping players prepare for the next stage at Madison 56ers.

Girls Pathway

The Girls Academy Pathway

Madison 56ers participates in the Girls Academy development structure through Inspire, Aspire, and Girls Academy. Inspire introduces players to the environment at U11–U12, followed by Aspire and GA competition options at U13–U19. Frequently Asked Questions

Inspire | U11–U12

Build a Strong Foundation

Inspire introduces younger players to the Girls Academy environment through a focus on learning and long-term development. Age-appropriate competition gives players opportunities to strengthen their skills, understand the game, and grow in confidence.

These formative years help players build the habits and foundation they will carry into U13 soccer and beyond.

Develop Through Competitive Challenges

Aspire is the Girls Academy’s second-tier competition platform, providing a challenging environment for continued player development.

Regional league play and opportunities for regional and national showcases help players gain meaningful competitive experience, develop their technical and tactical abilities, and pursue future playing opportunities.

Compete on the National Stage

Girls Academy is the pathway’s highest competition level and the platform for Madison 56ers’ first teams at U13–U19.

Players compete against strong opponents and participate in national showcase events, with opportunities for college exposure and talent identification. The GA also gives players a voice through its player-led Advisory Panel, encouraging leadership and involvement beyond the field.
